HVAC Design Build Sales/Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of design-build proposals and budget estimates. 
• Design and layout of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Develop HVAC system redlines and schematics and adherence to local building codes.
• Coordination reviews of completed contract documents.
• Collaborate with owners, project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure successful integration and execution of HVAC designs.
• Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selection.
• Review, refine, and validate HVAC designs, ensuring they meet all requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with the installation team to provide support during the execution phase.
• Communicate with the owner/owner’s representative on a regular basis to understand expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  

Qualifications:

• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for new construction projects. 
• Experience with design software tools, especially AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit.
• Knowledge of local building codes and HVAC design standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to foster a positive work environment.
• Stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC design and layout.
